How does per-server licensing work?
Each production WHM server IP requires its own license. Monthly and lifetime options include updates and verification API access for that node.
Is there a trial?
Yes — run the install script without a key for a time-limited trial, then activate with your license key from ShoHost.
Which cPanel versions are supported?
Sho MultiReseller targets current cPanel/WHM releases with AppConfig and standard reseller ACL integration. Check release notes before major cPanel upgrades.
What does the watchdog do?
Scheduled wdmonitor and related jobs can auto-suspend or terminate accounts over quota, sync packages, and send notifications based on your watchdog settings file.
How is this different from a flat WHM reseller?
cPanel alone offers one reseller layer. Sho MultiReseller adds Alpha and Master tiers, pooled limits across children, package whmr* templates, and a unified CGI to manage the full tree.
Can I migrate from flat WHM resellers?
Use the migration and account scanner tools to align ownership maps and tier registries. Plan a maintenance window for statsupdate after bulk moves.
What happens on uninstall?
Alpha/Master marker files under /home/*/whmreseller/ may remain until manually removed. Native cPanel accounts stay on the server; plugin registries under the CGI directory should be backed up before removal.
